4 | Peace Island Institute Art and Essay Contest | Peace Islands Institute (PII) announces its 5th Annual Art and Essay Contest for the middle and high school students in the State of New Jersey. This year’s theme is: 'Cyber Bullying ‘Coping with the Electronic Realm.’ The contest consists of 2 categories: Art Contest and Essay Contest, and is made up of 2 participant categories; Middle school (Grades 6 through 8), and High school (Grades 9 through 12). 12 | Princeton Girlchoir | Founded in 1989 as an after-school activity for girls interested in choral music, Princeton Girlchoir has grown into the area’s premier training and performance choir for girls, with over 290 choristers participating each year. The organization is comprised of seven choirs made up of girls from 3rd through 12th grade, drawing singers together from over 75 schools in Central New Jersey and Bucks County. These choirs present music from a wide array of genres, conductors and composers.
