Along with daily class work, projects, and assessments, your child's teacher will be using their progress in IRLA to determine report card grades.
IRLA assigns points to students as they move through each level. Steady progress throughout the year is expected as students gain reading skills. If your child does not make the predicted growth during any marking period, their grade may go down. Your child's teacher will let you know where your child may be getting stuck and what is being done to help them move along.
