💡 Important Note About Bus Assignments and Dismissal: In accordance with legal requirements, every student must have a bus assignment listed in our Genesis Student Portal. If you notice that your child has been assigned a bus, this is why. All students have bus assignments on record. However, this form is intended to document your child’s permanent dismissal plan—specifically, how you, as their parent or guardian, wish for them to be dismissed for the school year.
To ensure the safety of all students during dismissal, we ask that you complete the Student Dismissal Plan Form for each student’s permanent daily dismissal procedures.
Please note: If any non-permanent changes are needed to a student’s regular dismissal plan, a parent or guardian must submit the Change in Dismissal Form—available on the Sunnymead webpage (sme.htps.us)—before 2:45 p.m. on the day of the change. To maintain the safety of our school and its students, no changes can be made to your child’s dismissal after 2:45 p.m. The main office will close daily at that time and will remain closed until all school buses have left the parking lot.
Student safety is our top priority. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
💡 Important: If you submit an annual dismissal form after the school year has begun, please notify your child’s teacher and the office staff so we can remove your previous submission from our records.
