Student Assistance Program

Confidentiality is the Cornerstone of the Student Assistant Program 

The Student Assistance Counselors are here to help student with a range of issues.  We work with students and their families to provide group and individual counseling, psychosocial education and referrals to develop healthy coping skills, make positive lifestyle choices, and avoid substance abuse problems. Students who take advantage of the program may be looking for help with a variety of personal problems. Some issues discussed include:

  • Family Problems

  • Self-Esteem

  • Anger Management

  • Stress Management

  • Anxiety/Depression

  • Relationship Issues (Friends, Dating, etc.)

  • Body Image

  • Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Use/Abuse
