Congratulations to the Boys Track & Field team on an outstanding performance at the sectional championships! A special congratulations to the 4x800-meter relay team of Chase Crawford, Connor Advani, John Marticek, and Luke Sudol for capturing the sectional title. Congratulations also to the Boys 4x100-meter relay team for earning 2nd place and qualifying for the Group 4 Championships at Franklin. Both relay teams will now advance to compete at the Group 4 meet.
In addition, congratulations to Daniel Tobia for making school history by breaking the Boys 100-meter dash school record — a record that had stood for an incredible 26 years. Great job, boys, and best of luck as the season continues! Go Raiders!

Congratulations to the Girls Track and Field Team for winning their 5th State Sectional Championship in the last 6 years! The girls were led by Stella Martinez who claimed 3 gold medals, Luciana Damiano who was a double gold winner, Emma Stibitz who set 2 school records along with Emily Minetti and Peyton Wallace who also won gold medals. The girls 4 X 8 team of Emily Sudol, Cassie Montoya, Olivia Kay and Ava Lucariello were runner-ups, other scorers included Ellie Boateng, Izzy Ruffa, Debbie Ozokpor, Andrea Montoya and Brenna Roarty. Recently, HHS AP Physics students built their own cardboard boats as part of their unit on fluids and took to the water at the YMCA. These students showed amazing teamwork, creativity and excitement throughout this entire project!

The Wind Ensemble recently represented our program at the Central Jersey Music Educators Association Region 2 Concert Band Festival at Monroe High School, earning the festival’s highest distinction—a Gold Rating—for their outstanding performance.
They were also honored to perform at the prestigious Mid-Atlantic Wind Band Invitational at Roxbury High School, where they received high honors and exceptional praise from a panel of distinguished collegiate and professional wind band directors from all over the country.
The Freshman Band delivered an impressive performance at the Freshman Band Festival at Westfield High School, earning strong commendations and excellent feedback from the adjudicators.
